Evening to include live performance and guest artists

PORTLAND, OR, November 12, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Kristina Pupo, one of L.A.'s most talented rising stars of the Pop Music scene, will perform live and debut the video release for her single, "Hey Sexy..." on Sunday, November 23rd, 7 p.m. at Molly Malone's, 575 S. Fairfax Avenue in Los Angeles, 323-935-1577. Admission is free.

Unlike many young Pop artists today, Kristina writes her own lyrics, composes and arranges the music, and heads up the production and recording process of her songs. Since her arrival in Los Angeles from Florida four years ago, she has quickly become known for her powerful stage presence and impressive songwriting skills. Kristina has performed regularly throughout the Los Angeles area, first with the all-female group "The Family Jewels" and most recently as a solo artist. Plans for a regional tour are in the works as well as the release of an EP which will feature a collection of songs written and performed by Kristina and her band.

The video for "Hey Sexy..." is set in a steamy nightclub modeled after Club B.E.D in Miami. The atmosphere is filled with a trance-like quality of rhythm and lust. Once Kristina catches the stare of a stranger across the room, played by singer/songwriter Brian Bosen, she makes it her mission to find a way through an intimidating cast of characters to get to her man.

In addition to the video debut, Kristina and her band will perform all of the singles from her forthcoming EP titled "Jekyll and Hyde." The performance will also include a special live version of "Hey Sexy..." and duet with Brian Bosen, the male star of the video.
