New Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Treatment Program
Specific laboratory panels and functional neurological tests direct a course of natural care for fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue.

SALEM, OR, January 17, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Symptoms of fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue include pain that comes and goes and constantly moves, frequent indigestion, bloating after eating, loose bowel movements, constipation, gastrointestinal problems. Chronic pain and exhaustion are hallmarks. A traumatic event is often associated with the beginning of the problem.

The first laboratory test measures sensitivities to gluten (wheat, rye, oats, and barley), milk, eggs, yeast, and soy. Any results over 10 units are considered positive for the sensitivity and may make increase inflammation to the brain and throughout the body.

The next series of laboratory tests measure blood chemistry. The thyroid, adrenal glands, liver, kidneys, glucose levels, red/white blood cells and gut function are evaluated to determine one or a combination of the following problems:

1)Anemia
2)Blood Sugar Imbalances and Adrenal Stress
3)Gastrointestinal and Liver Dysfunction
4)Fatty Acid Metabolism

An Adrenal Stress Index Test is performed. This is a salivary hormone test much like DNA testing. The adrenal glands are stress organs and react to stress. If a person has been or is currently under stress, this test is required.

Other hormone test evaluate female and male hormone imbalances and their affect on depression, fatigue, mental fogginess, mood swings, hot flashes, sweating attacks, weight gain, and decreased physical stamina.

Functional Neurology includes testing evaluates: cranial nerves, eye patterns, vestibular, tendon reflexes, bilateral blood pressure, pulse rates, oxygen tissue perfusion, % oxygenation, cerebellum, cortical hemisphericity, vibration and sensory, joint ranges of motion, surface electromyography, heart rate variability, and spinal thermography.

Treatment consists of a simultaneous program of metabolic correction and functional neurological correction.

1)Metabolic support is prescribed to correct faulty laboratory patterns.
2)Concentrated Oxygen is delivered to fuel the brain and nervous system. An advanced procedure is Exercise With Oxygen Therapy (EWOT).
3)Brain-based Therapies are utilized such as auditory, visual and olfactory stimulation along with specific neurological adjusting to improve brain function.
4)Glutathione Therapy is used for powerful antioxidant supply.

Programs of care are designed for six or nine months.
