viaLanguage Opens 2010 Translation Grant Program
viaLanguage aspires to help an innovative healthcare organization improve the health and access to the LEP community.
PORTLAND, OR, May 26, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- viaLanguage, a leader in healthcare translation and website localization services announced today an August 31st, 2010 application deadline for their annual Translation Grant Program. The annual donation program will award $5000 of in-kind translation services to an organization that shares their philosophy of improving healthcare access for ethnic communities.

"Through this grant, viaLanguage aspires to help an innovative healthcare organization improve the health and access to healthcare of underserved, ethnic communities here in the US."
To be eligible applicants must be actively working to improve access to health or healthcare for its ethnic and Limited English Speaking (LEP) communities. Eligible organizations must be headquartered in the US and include a program with one or more of the following focus areas: health education, accessing healthcare, disaster & relief services, environment, science & technology, voluntarism & community outreach and youth advocacy & programs. The recipient of the viaLanguage Translation Grant will be selected the week of September 13th, 2010.
